Ok so not everyone is a morning person. You want to book a shoot but not get up at dawn. Well I’m here to tell you, you don’t have to. I LOVE morning sessions, but they definitely don’t have to be sunrise. Have a look at this little Winter Motherhood session with Ash, her little girl and the most beautiful baby bump. We shot at 9am, on a cloudless sunny morning and i think you’ll agree, there’s a warmth and energy that comes from a full sun session that you just don’t get at other times of day. It’s bold, moody and playing with the light is what I love the most.
I wanted Ash to come to the session with a few things in her mind. Firstly, wardrobe. Comfort is key. Not only comfortable clothes for your growing babe, but also wearing something that makes you feel good. That suits you and you feel really great in. There is a confidence that comes from the right clothes, and by that I don’t mean whatever is trending, or in fashion, but whatever makes YOU feel confident and at ease. What you’re wearing should not even be in your thought process while we are together for your shoot.
And the reason for that? You’re there on the beach with me for other important things ha ha! This time was for Ash and her gorgeous girl. Before she becomes a big sister. These quiet moments were just for her and her mumma.
