Hi! I’m Megan.
I have saltwater running through my veins. Or so I’m told by some. Adventures in the ocean, good wine, maxi skirts, margaritas and Sri Lankan curries are some of my favourite things…
My 7 year old daughter is my world and she brings the sass like no other. She’s still letting me photograph her and I’ll take it while I can. My little muse is growing up and one day she’ll sit down with albums and boxes of printed photographs and she’ll understand their importance.
She’ll see herself as I see her now… wild, kind, hilarious, quirky, beautiful and free-spirited.
My husband and I met through a mutual love of music 27 years ago, and music remains as a way we connect to this day.
Life is busy, but keeping it simple is how I like to enjoy it. We camp on the Murray a few times a year in our little vintage van (that needs a bit of work but we love “Huey” regardless!). We watch the sunset on the beach, we cook, we bike ride, we cuddle and we laugh.
We love having a holiday on the horizon, and we love being homebodies too.

WHAT I DO
I create space. Space for you to be present, with your most important people. Space to be vulnerable and raw. Space to have the most fun.
I record your moments, artfully, doing what you love. We could be spending a morning at home, or getting salty and sandy on the beach.
We will discover how you want to document this chapter, and create something truly real and beautiful. Movement, freedom and connection.
Jumping on unmade beds, wild hair in the wind, the tightest cuddles, the biggest belly laughs, the moments now that will become the most priceless possessions in the form of photographs.
Your children will see how much they made you whole. How you loved so fiercely and how you stopped time for just a little bit to make sure moments like these were captured forever.

WHAT TIME IS OUR SESSION?
Outdoor sessions are generally at sunrise or about an hour before sunset (don’t worry about being out past bedtime for your little ones, we will discuss this in depth during our planning).. But we can get creative and shoot at other times of day too! In-home sessions can take place anytime and this will depend on what you want to achieve for the session.
WHERE WILL WE GO?
If you’re after a location shoot, I know the Mornington Peninsula coastline inside out, and will give you plenty of options that I feel will suit your family and the ages of your kids. I also travel for my clients who live outside the Peninsula, or want to shoot elsewhere and this is something we can discuss during our planning.
WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR?
You’ll receive a detailed session guide to help you plan for your shoot. Wardrobe tips and advice is included! But my number one rule… wear something comfortable, something you love, something that is YOU. I will give you plenty of guidance during our planning if you need.
WHAT IF I FEEL AWKWARD IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA?
Well, to start, I don’t even want you looking at the camera. You’re going to be too busy loving on each other to be looking at me! My sessions are “adventure-led” and by that I mean, you will always have things to do, to see, to explore, to play and I’ll direct you a little or a lot, whatever you need. The key thing here is that I am only going to ask you to be your beautiful selves…
WHAT IF MY KIDS GET A BIT WILD AND DON’T COOPERATE?
I want your kids to be wild!I want them to be who they are. I never ask too much of the kids in terms of direction. I focus on play, activities, and you guys all just doing things that you love to do. Putting pressure on them to “pose” or do things that aren’t natural is not a part of my photographic style. I have been told by past clients that I have a calm and kind nature, especially when it comes to the kids, and it’s so important that they have a great time during the shoot. It’s not something you have to “get through,” it’s an hour for you guys to really just drop all expectation and actually have an amazing time.
DO YOU JUST OFFER DIGITALS?
Absolutely not. Prints are so important and my digital packages include a selection of prints and wall art. I offer 3 digital packages to suit all budgets and there are prints included with all of them.

HOW CAN I BEST DISPLAY MY PHOTOS?
I have been curating a Pinterest board showing a pretty cool variety of ways to make sure your photos don’t end up on a hard drive gathering dust. What is the point of that? You can access this Pinterest board by clicking here
Also, a photo book or album is about the most precious way you can print your photos. Let the pages get a little creased over time, let the cover get a little worn. It shows that the photographs have been loved, talked about, shared and locked in the memories of your family. Hand it down to the next generation, and then the one after that. It really is priceless.
HOW DO I BOOK?
Amazing! Let’s do it. Send me a booking request and the first thing we will do is work out a date. I’ll send you an invoice, contract and questionnaire. Once your contract is signed and the creative fee paid, your booking is secure and we will lock in a time for a quick phone chat. This is where the fun begins… xx
